How to open a Shopify store

The Shopify platform is a complete commerce system that lets you start, grow, and manage your online business.

Go to the shopify website to open your account.

Select one of the options below:

Select of any these that apply to you.

Make sure to select Yes on the next one.

Fill in the below with your shop name. Make sure this matches the name you subscribe to Geko Products with.

Please ensure to select the correct country so VAT and Taxes can be added or deducted.

Create your ID, again it’s best to match it to the one you will sign up to Geko Products with.

Once you’ve done that you will have to wait a few minutes whilst Shopify load up the information you’ve put in.

In the meantime, check your email and make sure to confirm your email address like the below:

You then have access to your store which you can follow the guide below to set up fully and sync to any pre-existing websites, sales fronts etc.
